BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING:

The Board of Directors of the Corcoran Irrigation District met in the office of the Corcoran Irrigation District, 1150 6 ½ Avenue, Corcoran, California September 14, 2021 at 11:0 a.m., President Rietkerk presided and Secretary Gene Kilgore recorded the minutes.

 

Directors Present:

  • Peter Rietkerk
  • Mike Boyett
  • Doug DeVaney
  • Matthew Gilkey

Directors Absent:

  • Erik Hansen

Others present:

  • Gene Kilgore, General Manager
  • Tammy Stephens, Office Administrator
  • Devin Eagle, Operations Technician

The time having arrived for the Board to meet as a Board of Equalization to equalize assessments which time was set in the notice published in the Corcoran Journal, August 26, 2021 and September 2, 2021 issue, as evidenced by proof of publication before said Board, and The Board now convenes as a Board of Equalization to hear and determine objections to said valuations and assessments as may come to it.

 

As no one appeared before said Board of Equalization to offer comments or objections nor did the District receive any written comments to the proposed said valuations and assessments. On motion of Director Gilkey, seconded by Director Boyett and carried, the Board adopted the following resolution:

 

Resolution No. 2021-06
WHEREAS, the Assessment Book of Corcoran Irrigation District for the year 2021-2022 has been examined by the Board of Equalization of the District and the assessed values and therein entered were found by said Board of Equalization of the District to be just and proper, and;
WHEREAS, no objections have been made to any assessed values;
NOW THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Equalization does herby consider as equalized values in said book as identical with said values.
THE FOREGOING RESLOUTION WAS ADOPTED by the following vote:

AYES: Peter Rietkerk, Mike Boyett, Doug DeVaney, Matthew Gilkey
NOES: None
Absent: Erik Hansen

 

There being no further business before said Board, motion was made by Director Gilkey, seconded by Director Boyett and unanimously carried to adjourn meeting.
