Corcoran Irrigation District is a political subdivision of the State of California that operates independently under the California Water Code. Our goal is to obtain and deliver surface water for irrigation of farms in the District as well as to recharge the groundwater basin beneath the District. Our district is continuously working to improve its efficiency and contain costs for its patrons who rely upon the District for their farms and ranches. Our mission is to ensure dependable and cost-effective water supply to our district customers in a way that encourages conservation and fits into the larger mission of watershed health and natural resource stewardship.
